This mahogany cigar chest is a perfect example of the simple elegance and style of the high-end humidors of the early 1900’s. When we received the humidor it was in beautiful condition, and the rich, warm patina was exceptional as you would expect after aging over a century. The top of the humidor has a beautifully carved edge and the bottom has been lined with premium felt.
The upper and lower compartments have separate humidifiers to ensure equal and consistent humidification. The upper compartment has two Credo Rondo humidifiers and the drawer has three Credo Tube humidifiers. When the lid is closed the drawer is automatically locked by a spring mechanism that extends from the back of the hinge to the back of the drawer.
The brass hinge, lid support, lock, and finger pull all have a wonderful aged patina and are in excellent condition. This magnificent humidor is a rare find and a very impressive collector’s piece.
